The Brunton Theatre Trust is taking its long-standing and colourful contribution to Edinburgh’s Fringe Festival Out and About in 2023, visiting various places in the Musselburgh and Fisherrow area. It’s a great showcase for the great venues on offer in the town, while retaining the box office counter, and the popular Bistro, of The Brunton theatre itself. Highlights of the programme include Alex Hodgson’s Are Ye Dancin?, children’s theatre, outdoor theatre, The Phoenix ChoirThe Steamie, storytelling for children, Illyria: Pride & Prejudice, and cinema: Mamma Mia and Fleabag. A special Festival Day is promised, at Musselburgh Racecourse on Saturday 26th August.

The Steamie will take place at Loretto School 23rd - 26th August
