Combining well-known popular works with contemporary compositions, Scottish Ensemble continue their commitment to building long-term connections with local communities in Brodick, Seil and Tobermory by returning to the same venues where they took their Goldberg Variations Trio tour in 2022, followed by stops at Perth Concert Hall, where they kick-off the 2023-24 Lunchtime Concert Series, and Glasgow University, where they open the 2023-24 Concert Series.

Performing in a variety of venues, from large concert halls and beautiful churches to urban warehouses and community halls, Scottish Ensemble always strive to make each concert an intimate, friendly and reflective experience. Chamber music, especially compositions for the string quartet, exemplify this intimacy, when a powerful connection is formed in the performance space between a small group of players as they invite audiences to experience the music up close and personal.
