Edinburgh’s Torrance Gallery is showing work by Scottish artist Daniel Campbell, in his first solo exhibition there. Campbell numbers royalty and high-profile stage and screen actors among those who possess his work, and he is often invited to be a ‘demo’ artist at many UK outdoor events such as the Royal Highland Show, where demand is said to be such that his work sells straight off the easel.

The Gallery has extended its opening hours to include Mondays, and supports the Own Art finance scheme, which makes purchasing artworks more affordable through payment by instalments.
