Recently opened in Beauly, Alder Arts Modern specialises in contemporary and 20th century art, such as original lithographs by Salvador Dali, limited edition prints by Paul Cezanne, mixed media works by William Gear and a selection of screenprints by several artists from the 1960s and ‘70s. Other works include Gerry Irvine’s abstracted landscapes, Paul Pacey’s
traditional style watercolours, etchings by Meyer Eberhardt and floral paintings by Ruth Forbes. The new gallery joins its longstanding ‘sister’ across the street, Alder Arts, which specialises in period paintings from around 1680 to 1900.
