St Andrews gallery and framer Sproson Gallery is showing Beyond the Horizon – inviting visitors to contemplate the majestic scenery of the Scottish coastline. The work in the exhibition captures meticulously the perennial dance between the clouds, tides and winds, evoking the uplifting sensation of being at the sea’s side, for instance looking out from the shores of Arisaig, or looking across the River Tay – or a view rendered purely from memory.
