Artists and makers in some 30 venues across East, North and South Ayrshire open their doors for Open Studios Ayrshire, offering visitors a unique opportunity to see where and how they work and to purchase original art direct from the creators. The wide range of media includes painting, print, glasswork, sculpture, textiles, ceramics, jewellery, digital art and metalwork. 

Venues range from a garden shed, a garage or a spare room to professional art studios, while some artists and makers opt for external venues such as Troon Concert Hall. The OAS website includes a directory of members which you can browse to plan studio visits.
