Established in 2005, Edinburgh Art Fair is an annual international art fair showing high-quality artworks from throughout the UK, Europe, and further afield, returning this year to the city’s O2 Academy to showcase work by artists, sculptors, designers, makers and creators to a large audience.

An unusual aspect of the Fair is its promise of ‘art for everyone’, with well-known artists and established galleries exhibiting alongside recent graduates, or mid-career or self-taught artists. As many of its exhibitors travel lengthy distances to display their work, it becomes something of a ‘global high street’ with many works not normally available locally., making the Fair a highlight on the art enthusiast’s calendar.

Children are welcome, there is an art workshop space for visitors to draw and paint, plus a licensed bar, coffee bar, food stand and a relaxing chill-out space.

Thousands of original works will be for sale in many genres including paintings, original prints, sculpture, bespoke furniture, photography, ceramics, glassware, digital, and designer artworks, with price tags from as low as one hundred pounds. The event is billed as the largest, most prestigious of its kind in the UK outside London, offering a unique opportunity to see work by myriad creative minds and talents under one roof.

The event is ticketed – see the EAF2024 website (left). O2 Academy Edinburgh is the former Edinburgh Corn Exchange. Note the earlier closing time on 22nd Sept.
