The artisan ceramics market Potfest returns to its Cumbrian location of 30 years, featuring well-established ceramic artists alongside those up-and-coming, from around the UK, under the roof of Penrith’s Skirsgill Auction Mart, close to the M6’s junction 40. 

The event enjoys a real vibrancy, with seasoned makers exhibiting alongside those fresh out of college, or taking their first steps into a new profession, and work on display from large-scale sculptural pieces to fine jewellery, domestic ware and contemporary pieces, all for sale from the people who’ve made it. Visitors can meet the artists, chat to them and buy direct, offering an ideal opportunity to stock up on artisan gifts for Christmas.
