Open Eye Gallery in Edinburgh is showing an exhibition of work by Caroline Ann Mordue. Describing her images as ‘places I frequent as a quiet observer, moving through unnoticed’, Caroline is drawn to interior landscapes, looking at everyday objects and settings to bring out the beauty of the space. Her work has been shown at the Royal Scottish Academy Annual Exhibition, the Visual Arts Scotland centenary show, a group showcase at the Open Eye Gallery, the Edinburgh Macmillan Art Show and the Borders Art Fair.
Also showing is Audrey Rapier: Between Land and Light, in which Audrey’s intimate and quietly observational paintings capture everyday moments with a calm simplicity, exuding a meditative quality.
